Hungry for Breakfast?  Mary Kay’s Country Diner is now serving Breakfast 7 days a week 6 - 9am.  Your breakfast is cooked to order and the endless cup of coffee is only 50¢ . Saturday - Thursday 11am - 2pm and Friday 11am - 9pm. Friday night we have All You Can Eat fried Catfish and 8oz Ribeye specials. Artist Commissioned For 2010 Bass Unlimited Poster

Becky Roy, artist, has been commissioned to create the 2010 Bass Unlimited (BU) Poster for the Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA).  Mrs. Roy is a Toledo Bend Lake Artist and Art Educator at Natchitoches Magnet School.

 Mrs. Roy has completed the original drawing from which the eighth annual limited edition BU Poster will be printed.  The 2010 BU poster is sponsored by the Sabine Medical Center in Many.

The poster unveiling is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, in the Grand Ballroom at Cypress Bend Resort on beautiful Toledo Bend Lake.  Artist Roy will be at this function to personalize the numbered and signed posters.  She will also be at the Bass Unlimited Banquet and Auction on Friday, April 16.  The 2010 poster will sell for fifteen dollars ($15.00) each.

The Bass Unlimited Poster Unveiling Gala on April 1 is open to the public.  There is no admission charge.

        Tickets to the Toledo Bend Lake Associations 8^th Annual Bass Unlimited Banquet & Auction are $40.00 in advance or $50.00 at the door with a complete table of 8 seats costing $320.00.  Ticket price includes a bottomless beverage cup of non-alcohol or alcoholic beverages, a steak dinner with all the trimmings plus you are automatically entered for many free door prizes which will be given away during the event.  The Banquet is held outdoors under The Pavilion at Cypress Bend Park Marina, it starts at 5:00PM for Social Hour.

While living in the Sunset/Grand Coteau area she taught Art at Beau Chene High School in St. Landry Parish.  She and her husband, Ricky, moved to the Lake in 2007 when Ricky accepted a work related transfer to the area.   Artist Roy was a Graphic Artist for 20 years before receiving her B.S. degree in Art Education from USL (currently the University of Louisiana Lafayette.)

        The Toledo Bend Lake Association is a group of citizens deeply interested in the community in which they live and are involved in the betterment of the Toledo Bend Lake area.  The Association is not a political organization, nor does it have any affiliation with any state or federal agency.  It is a non-profit organization.

The Bass Unlimited Banquet and Auction is the Association’s major fundraiser.
