Yocom Addresses Law Enforcement Issues

It is time to rid our county of drugs and I pledge to support the brave law enforcement officials of our county in their efforts to do so by providing those agencies the resources necessary.

We must stop the revolving door of deputies that quickly leave for higher paying jobs elsewhere.

I will use creative sentencing to have non-violent criminals picking up trash alongside our highways and county roads as a part of their community service.

There is practically no system in place to notify residents in the event of an emergency such as a tornado or toxic spill from a tanker truck.  I will work to find grant funds to establish a reverse 9-1-1 system that will automatically dial every phone number in the affected area to warn residents of the emergency.
