Hungry for Breakfast?  Mary Kay’s Country Diner is now serving Breakfast 7 days a week 6 - 9am.  Your breakfast is cooked to order and the endless cup of coffee is only 50¢ . Saturday - Thursday 11am - 2pm and Friday 11am - 9pm. Friday night we have All You Can Eat fried Catfish and 8oz Ribeye specials. Free Tax Service at J.R. Huffman Public Library

Along with providing tax forms, free tax help will be available beginning Monday February 8th at the J.R. Huffman Public Library in Hemphill.  Certified volunteers Linda Goodman, Maurice Patterson and Bonnie Finley will be available from 9:30AM until 3:00PM Monday-Friday to help file your 2009 income tax returns. 

Anyone with an income of $49,000 or less is eligible. 

Filers must bring their 2008 income tax return in order to file your 2009 income tax forms. 

If you receive Social Security benefits you must also bring your SSA 1099 form.
